Overview
During the 3-week engagement of Project Nova, we designed, piloted and implemented a series of personnel management procedures for a firm operating in Lagos, Nigeria with more than 150 staff members operating across 4 sectors in 3 offices spread across the city.
Challenge
The client faced challenges in harmonising personnel management practices across multiple offices and sectors, leading to inefficiencies in recruitment, staff evaluation, and operational consistency.
The solution
The Spurt! team conducted interviews and surveys to understand each office and harmonise their dynamics. We also organised training sessions for the senior management team and constructed templates, which were used to gather the job descriptions of the employees, which were updated based on the company’s requirements.
The impact
Deliverables included recruitment models with hiring procedures and job specifications, peer review systems, employee career trackers, operations policy documents as well as culture decks and ethical policy guidelines for staff and client management.
These documents enabled the firm to both standardise and improve cultural practices, team efficiency and human resource challenges across the organisation.
