How Spurt! Helped 9 Businesses Break Through Their Growth Bottlenecks
When Good Ideas Stop Being Enough
Every business reaches a point where good ideas stop being enough. Revenue stalls, pricing feels like guesswork, and the next stage of growth seems to require expertise the team simply doesn't have yet. This is the exact moment the Zora Enterprise Lab was designed for.
Zora Enterprise Lab is a 12-week accelerator programme for businesses who are solving real problems but hitting frustrating growth bottlenecks. It was delivered by Spurt! in partnership with Bridge for Billions and Wicked Innovation Lab.
Together, the three partners built a programme that paired hands-on mentorship with real operating structure — giving businesses a safe space to test, refine, and fix what wasn't working.

THE CHALLENGE
Startups don't usually fail because businesses lack ambition. They stall because of bottlenecks: unclear pricing, untested processes, and a lack of access to people who've solved the same problems before.
Operators, scale-up founders, and functional experts willing to work directly with each team.
A structured space to test new pricing models, processes, or growth experiments without risking the business itself.
“The harder challenge was finding the right business, keeping 35 participants and 20 mentors aligned over 12 weeks, and making sure the programme translated into real, lasting progress rather than just a good workshop series. Spurt! Team.”
THE SOLUTION
Spurt! led sourcing, vetting, and day-to-day delivery of the programme, while leaning on each business's specific strength
Spurt! ran targeted campaigns to attract applicants, then screened and pre-vetted the pool to ensure only businesses with genuine growth potential and readiness were admitted.
Applicants → Campaigns & outreach → Screening & pre-vetting → 35 businesses onboarded
Bridge for Billions
Structured venture sprints and a system of accountability that kept founders on track week to week.
Wicked Innovation Lab
Focused on problem framing, investor readiness, and product thinking — sharpening business models with an investor's eye.
Spurt!
Supplied the platform that housed the curriculum, tracked performance, and kept the businesses, mentors, and partners aligned. Owned end-to-end curriculum delivery and communication.
THE IMPACT
Each and every business that was part of the programme were assigned one out of the 20 mentors' practitioners to help them for 12 weeks. They remained in touch with their respective founders after 12 weeks in order to make sure that they learn something and remember it.
Nine businesses completed the programme successfully and are now in the process of being attached to Wicked Innovation Lab's portfolio companies.
From Stuck to Scaling; and Beyond
The Zora Enterprise Lab shows what happens when the right structure meets the right people: founders move from stuck to scaling, and mentors and partners get to see their expertise turned into real outcomes. Spurt!, Bridge for Billions, and Wicked Innovation Lab are continuing to build on this model for future cohorts.
Are you a business facing a growth bottleneck, or an organisation running a programme that needs a partner to source, structure, and deliver it? Spurt! can be that partner.Similar Projects
